Guest Messages Report

The Guest Messages report allows users to view all the guest messages that have been created and delivered to guests.

Perform the following steps to generate the report:

Navigate to Reports Dynamic Reports Guests/Reservations Guest Messages.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields.

Field

Description

Start Date

The start date from which the report must be generated. Users can select a date that is a maximum of 365 days prior to the current property date.

End Date

The end date up to which the report must be generated. Users can select a date that is a maximum of 30 days from the start date.

Message Status

This is a multi-select drop-down list that allows users to select from the following statuses for which the report must be generated:

  • Delivered

  • Undelivered

Click Run to generate the report.

Click Save to save the report under User Favorites section.

Report Fields

This report displays the following fields:

Description

Reservation

The reservation confirmation number as a hyperlink. When clicked, users will be navigated to the reservation. Users can search records using this value.

Guest Name

The guest profile associated with the reservation as a hyperlink. When clicked, users will be navigated to the profile. This column can be sorted. Users can filter and search records using this value.

Room

The room assigned to the reservation. For reservations with scheduled room moves, the room number assigned for the first night of stay will be displayed. This column can be sorted. Users can filter and search records using this value.

Arrival

The arrival date of the reservation. This column can be sorted. Users can filter records using this value.

Departure

The departure date of the reservation. This column can be sorted. Users can filter records using this value.

Message Count

The total guest messages received for the selected date range. This column can be sorted. Users can filter records using this value.

From

The sender of the message. Users can search records using this value.

To

The recipient of the message. Users can search records using this value.

Contact

The contacts entered for the message. Users can search records using this value.

Subject

The subject for the message. Users can search records using this value.

Message

The guest message. Users can search records using this value.

Created Date

The date when the message was created. This column can be sorted.

Created Time

The time when the message was created.

User Created

The username of the user who created the message. This column can be sorted. Users can filter and search records using this value.

Status

The status of the message. This column can be sorted. Users can filter records using this value.

Delivered Date

The date when the message was delivered. This column can be sorted.

Delivered Time

The time when the message was delivered.
